Women Veterans Retreat

One Savvy Veteran hosted a women veterans retreat at Cantigny Park in Wheaton, Illinois courteous of the generosity of the First Division Museum. The ladies had a private, after hours tour of the beautiful museum, an outdoor symphony orchestra concert and a 3 bedrooms/3 bathrooms house to stay in that came with food, snacks and wine! We did alot of peer support and team building activities and just enjoyed the camaraderie of being around those "who just get it", as one guest described. It was an opportunity to take a break from everyday life in order to regroup and recharge.
