Meosha meets Max

Meet Max...20 year old active duty Army who was in a car crash 2 months ago while on leave. Today I had the honor of presenting him a Quilt of Valor award. Max expressed that he liked talking to me because he was surrounded by civilians who "didn't understand" so I stayed with him for 4 extra hours...talking and laughing...His family thanked me and said he was "lighting up talking to me and they hadn't seen him like that in months"...I got hugs and kisses and even homemade dessert...
